Cumorah Academy provides open enrollment for Jr. Kindergarten through 8th Grade without regard to race, religion, gender, or national origin. Assessment evaluations for academic placement and behavioral qualifications will be conducted during the enrollment process. Qualified students will be enrolled in school upon completion and submission of all forms and fees required for registration and payment of applicable fees.

JR. KINDERGARTEN ADMISSIONS:
Children must be four (4) years of age by September 30th, 2007, to be considered for Jr. Kindergarten enrollment. Children must be trained in bathroom habits. Wearing diapers or training pants is not acceptable. Prior preschool experience is not required.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (K-5th Grade) ADMISSIONS:
Children must be five (5) years of age by September 30th, 2007 to be considered for Kindergarten enrollment. Beginning class placement is tentative. If it is determined that a different class assignment is more suitable, the administration will advise parents and make the necessary adjustments. Parents should conference with the principal if they have any educational concerns, an I.E.P., 504 plan, or past grades of D or F.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (6th—8th Grade) ADMISSIONS:
Middle school student admissions are based on the student being sufficiently prepared to function well in the Cumorah Academy classes for which they have applied. To help make these determinations, we use past report cards, and all students must complete an entrance exam in Math and Language, administered prior to the start of school. Your child’s grades at Cumorah Academy are based on Cumorah Academy standards and curriculum, and may not be comparable to other schools’ grading systems.
